Mission Statement:
The Walnut Police Department is responsible for ensuring the safety of the community through education, enforcement, and prevention. The department is responsible for responding to both emergency and non-emergency calls for police service. Officers must make decisions related to the Village of Walnut Code of Ordinances, as well as, the laws of the State of Illinois, in order to ensure law enforcement and the safety of the residents, business owners, and guests of the Village of Walnut. |
